About: Sloan-Hoffman Designs

Sloan-Hoffman Designs is the culmination of my lifelong passions; designing jewelery, writing illustrated books (and illustrating them) that are meant to inspire and otherwise just being a creative and passionate person.​

​

I am Katy Sloan-Hoffman and this page will tell you a little background about my company & myself & why/how I got started doing this.

I have always loved art, crafting and creating things; I enjoy writing/illustrating and making jewelery that others can appreciate.

​

A few years back I suffered severe heart complications that were potentially life threatening. Thanks to a very skilled doctor and through the power of God I made a miraculous recovery.

​

Reflecting back on the uncertainty and trials I was put through inspired me to write a book that I hoped would comfort others and possibly bring them a moment of peace in their time of uncertainty.

​

Since my recovery, hearts have carried a special meaning to me, which is why I use them as symbols in my books and often use them as inspiration for my jewelery. To me a heart represents love and compassion and hope and I have found it to be a great comfort to myself and others in times of need.

 

Likewise a strong relationship and history studying God's word has had a strong influence that resonates in some of my jewelery.​

I am currently growing my business and these are just a sample of some of the work I have done. In addition to the jewelery I craft regularly I can also customize a design to meet what you are looking for!
